ByLaws Revisions

At the March Board of Directors meeting, the Kingdom Kidz, Inc. Bylaws were revised. Here are a few of the changes:

  1. President and Vice President were changed to Chair and Vice Chair.
  2. The following standing committees were instituted: Audit, Budget/Finance, Outreach, Marketing, Nomination, Fundraising, Grants, Evangelism & Discipleship. These committees will be filled with Board members, as well as, community individuals.
  3. Donna’s title was changed from Founder/Director to President/CEO in charge of daily operations of Kingdom Kidz.
  4. One youth will be nominated and elected to the Board of Directors.

If you are interested in serving on one of the committees or as a Board Member, please contact Donna (742-0379). There are 3 unexpired Board of Director terms to be finished also. These expire December 2011.

KINGDOM KIDZ is a 501(c) (3) Nonprofit Organization

501(c) organization, or simply a 501(c), is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization in the United States. Section 501(c) of the United States Internal Revenue Code (26 U.S.C. 501(c)) provides that 29 types of nonprofit organizations are exempt from some federal income taxes. Sections 503 through 505 set out the requirements for attaining such exemptions. Many states refer to Section 501(c) for definitions of organizations exempt from state taxation as well. 501(c) organizations can receive unlimited contributions from individuals, corporations, and unions
