God Wants You
This 35 minute puppet presentation shares the story of a young private who thinks he can't be used by God because of the sin that he committed in the past. However, his Sarge shares the love of Jesus with him and lets him know we all make mistakes.
This story uses a military background for a spiritual war that our enemy is fighting against us - God can't use me, I'm a big mistake. As the private learns, God wants us to be available for Him and He will use us everyday. A GREAT story showing how the whole body of Christ can work together to make a difference for God. Appropriate for all ages and denominations.
Abraham, A Man of Faith
This 45 minute puppet narrative was written for a winter VBS experience and shares the story of Abraham through the dramatic presentation of God's voice, sound effects and lighting. It is scriptural and presents Abraham's story as told in the Old Testament. Appropriate for all ages and most effective in a darkened sanctuary because of blacklight puppetry and colored lights. However, it can be used in all settings.
In this dramatic presentation, the puppets and "Cross Stix" team share the story from Mary's perspective "beginning with His birth and ending when He arose" to communicate what the death of Jesus was like. Through puppets, props and sound effects, the story is presented and concludes with the power presentation "Arise My Love." Puppeteers and puppets in Biblical costume.
30 min - Kids will love the "Tex's Dude Ranch" setting, where they help owner Tex Arkana tell her "Donkey Tales" to the accompaniment of the Ranch Hand Band. The country western swing, bluegrass, and rockabilly styles will enhance the setting and energize those who hear it. The children think they are going to a horse ranch to learn how to ride horses. Instead they learn about the humility that led Jesus from riding the donkey into Jerusalem to the cross for each of us. For kids of all ages.
